:: Malta Fashion Week - Sam Selby The Sirena Collection ::

Hello girls! 

This fashion week does not only boast numerous fashion shows by the talented designers, but it also hosted a couple of exhibitions, this one which I'll be sharing with you today, as well as the one by Saz Mifsud which will be coming soon! 

Being completely honest, since I had never heard of the designer, I didn't expect much, especially since I'm not a big jewellery fan myself. However, this collection blew me away! As you can imagine, they are made from sea sediment stone, which gives it an earthy yet sophisticated look. I am in love with this collection, especially the necklaces; have a look for yourself!

:: Malta Fashion Week - Intune by Claudia Goagara ::

Hello there girls! 

The third and final fashion show on our agenda for the day, was called Intune by CG - Claudia Goagara. Her collection is called 'Interlude', and includes very feminine, yet powerful dresses, unintentionally making a statement; in a good way (of course!) 

Here's a peek at her collection! The first dress is my absolute favourite, which is relatively strange since I'm a big lover of black, white and grey! 

Aren't all these dresses so gorgeous!? This has inspired me to get my hands on as many dresses as possible this summer! Stay tuned for more firls, as we're only half way through!

:: Malta Fashion Week - Rosita Silk Sense ::

Hello there!

Another stunning fashion show I got the opportunity to see, was that showcasing the talents of Rosita, presenting her collection 'Joie de Vivre'. Being completely sincere, I had never heard of the brand before, however after having the chance to witness such gorgeous pieces, these pieces will definitely be on my wishlist at some point! 

She specialises in hand-painted silk pieces, starting off with a blank crisp white piece of silk, and then gives it colour using purely organic material, such as salt. Without a doubt, this is a piece of iriginal, one-of-a-kind piece that I feel that every lady should have in their wardrobe this summer! Have a look for yourself! xxx

:: Malta Fashion Week - PARASCANDALO ::

Hello again girls!

Without a doubt, the fashion show by the talented Marco Parascandalo has been one of the shows that a lot of us have been eagerly waiting to see; I have personally heard so much about him and his previous collections! This was reflected by the number of people who could be seen wearing his designs from previous collections at the fashion show as a sign of support. 

When one thinks of Parascandalo, automatically the colour black pops into their head; one can say that its a signature aspect of his collections. In addition, a good number of his designs have 'Parascandalo' and 'Skandlu' written on them, as well as other local and foreign sayings such as 'Mhux kull ma jleqq hu deheb', which is a mantra which everyone should live by!

Gorgeous collection, combining a classic minimalist look, with nodern design and silhouettes! Truly bravo Marco!

:: Malta Fashion Week - Gaetano - Nymph Collection ::

Hey girls! 

Although this is my first experience at Malta Fashion Week, I have heard a lot about Gaetano, as last year he blew everyone away with his collection which he presented at the New Designers Show, for which he had later won an award for Best Designer. 

Therefore, naturally I was looking forward to seeing this collection; Nymph which as expected, blew me away. The inspiration behind his creations is the woman; her strength, her rebelliousness, fierceness and other contradicting emotions.  

Truly well done Gaetano! The combination of sophistication with the element of rebelliousness was expertly brought forward through the cut outs, the sheer fabric and the overall look of the collection, including the hair and make-up which were used to complete the look.

:: Malta Fashion Week - Wedding Bells by Anna Romysh ::

Hello girls!

So the second show of the day was the gorgeous wedding collection by Anna Romysh, which can be found at Wedding Bells in Valletta. 

Looking at these dresses, I just felt like I was planning my own wedding; they're not just the average white wedding dress with a couple of sequins  here and there. Something about them seemed magical. They almost look like dresses which a princess in a Disney movie would wear - they were absolutely stunning. 

Its true that  models are bound to look phenomenal in everything, but all the dresses were made to fit the curves of the body, elongating the legs an the torso, and making all girls of all sizes look like a million dollar$!

:: Malta Fashion Week - Headpieces by Adalia B ::

Hey girls!

Adalia B, also known by her full name as Adalia Bonnici Bonanno kicked off the third day of shows at fashion week by showing off her collection of handmade-to-precision headpieces. They are inspired by beautiful colours and patterns, and she strives to make women feel extra special on certain occasions. 

Below are some of my favourite looks, This collection opened my eyes to the world of headpieces - in reality very few people are a fan of morning weddings, simply because of the 'obligation' of wearing a headpiece; but this will definitely change your mind, like it changed mine!
