:: Tea Tree Products Review ::

Hey girls! 

So as I was strolling around the supermarket aisles a couple of weeks ago, I stumbled over a brand of products which I had never seen before. It had absolutely gorgeous packaging and immediately caught my eye. 

I decided to give them a try, and hence I would be share my experience with you girls! I also got a special surprise at the end of this post so keep on reading! :) 

1. Tea Tree Daily Use Facial Wipes - For Clean and Healthy Skin

As I have mentioned numerous times before on my blog, I love using make-up removing wipes to remove the majority of my make-up, making it easier for a cleanser or a scrub to work its magic! I have picked up this pack to give a try, and I love it! It does exactly the job, without irritating the skin.

2. Tea Tree Daily Use Foaming Face Wash - for clean healthy skin

I cannot adequately put into words how much this product surprised me! I absolutely fell in love with the scent and the colour, not to mention the convenient pump-like dispenser, It leaves your skin healthy, hydrated and soft, while clearing up any excess make-up which hasn't been fully removed with the wipes. 

3. Tea Tree Daily Use Facial Scrub - for clean and healthy skin, suitable for all skin types

I have recently found out that scrubbing on a daily basis causes more harm than good, especially if one suffers from acne and the scrub is harsh on the skin. This scrub is ah-mazing, not to mention to scent!

:: OOTD - Accessorize Tote Bag ::

Hello there! 

I am back with something that is relatively new to my blog, Outfit of the Days! For some reason, I have stayed away from them for quite a long time, but recently I've been into sharing my daily clothing picks with you, so here is another one! 

In this look, I am wearing a navy blue t-shirt dress with side pockets (which are definitely a plus!). I paired it with a pair of gold sandals, and a gorgeous tote bag from Accessorize. 

This bag immediately caught my eye because its colours make it so easy to wear, not to mention it's the perfect size to stuff all my bits and bobs during my long university days. 

I love how it incorporates the touches of blue and red with the classic brown colour - its an absolute must-have! 

I accessorised with a couple of rings from Aldo, and a neutral nail polish from 3ina No. 106. It was my very first time wearing it, and I'm obsessed - definitely recommend! 

I kept my make up look relatively simple, but added a pop of colour to the lips! I also added some extra-sassy stud pearl earrings which I'm absolutely obsessed about!

:: Thalion Skin Care Review ::

Hey there girls! 

About a week ago, as I was getting my nails done at Lola's Salon in Msida, a small array of products on a shelf caught my eye, which I later re-visited for a more thorough look . The brand was called Thalion. 

I went home and carried out some research about the brand; The natural ingredients, such as the main ingredient which is seaweed, are harvested with the consumer in mind, striving to provide them with beneficial minerals and vitamins. 

The owner of Lola's in Msida was kind enough to give me a couple of samples to try out and share my thoughts with you guys! 

1. Thalion Purifying Foaming Cleanser 

This gel works to cleanse and purify the skin from all the dirt and access oils which would have accumulated on the skin throughout the day. The gel is very gentle on the skin, and I personally found it to be very refreshing and clearing. I applied it on a wet face twice daily (morning and night) and then rinsed with fresh water. 

2. Thalion Algo Pur Clarifying Mask

This paste, made from seaweed and clay is perfect to purify and matify oily skin, clearing the skin and regaining the chemical balance. I applied a thick layer twice a week for two weeks, and it truly helped my skin appear fresher and cleaner. 

3. Thalion Algo Pur Mattifying Fluid 

This product is ideal for people having oily skin, as it tends to absorb the access sebum creating a matte finish day in day out. The unique formula works to balance out and offer a healthy radiance and shine to the skin. I apply this every morning after I cleanse my face, for a fresh start to the day!

:: Aussie Frizz Miracle Review ::

Hey there girls! 

Not too long ago I managed to get my hands on the Frizz Miracle Remedy Line by the brand Aussie. I have already heard of the brand when I was invited to the official brand launch a couple months back at the beautiful The Galley at Ta Xbiex; link to the post here: https://soarella.blogspot.com.mt/2016/07/aussie-brand-launch-you-with-touch-of.html 

However, getting a hands on experience with the products is always better, which is why I've decided to share my experience of using them through this review! 

Aussie Frizz Miracle Shampoo 

The first thing that caught my attention with regards to this shampoo, was its scent! It is enriched with the scent of Australian Blue Gum Leaves, which gives it its very particularly pleasant smell! As a sufferer of crazy baby hairs, I found it to be great at taming those fly-aways and keeping my hair in place as much as possible, especially in this humid weather. 

Aussie Frizz Miracle Conditioner 

Just like its shampoo counterpart, this conditioner is also provided with the extract of  Australian Blue Gum Leaves, which are from the Australian Eucalyptus Tree, which helps to keep the frizz under control resulting in a smother look in general. I have felt the difference in the texture of my hair even after just a week of solely using Aussie shampoo and conditioner, and I greatly recommend them! 

Aussie Dual Personality Anti-Frizz Conditioning Milk 

This product is enriched with Australian Sea Kelp Extract to ensure a lightweight styling formula. It helps to tame uncooperative hair (thank god!) leaving it silky and well-mannered. Apart from using it on wet hair after giving it a good wash, I also carry it around with me and apply it throughout the day for an extra boost of #hairobedience! This has been without a doubt one of my hair staples this summer! 

Aussie 3 Minutes Miracle Frizz Remedy Deep Treatment 

After using the Frizz Miracle Shampoo, I have been applying a splodge of this product leaving it in to do its magic for about 5 minutes, and then rinsing it out with warm water. It has Australian Jojoba Seed Oil which gives it that extra boost when battling frizz, helping replenish the moisture to the hair, and in turn reducing the presence of frizz. 

My experience with Aussie has been beyond amazing so far, however I look forward to trying more products from this brand, while sharing my thoughts with you guys in the process! Let me know down below which are your favourite hair products at the moment. Thank you so much for your support! xxx

:: Adventure Blog #2 ::

Hello there girls! 

I am back with another #AdventureBlog Post - About two weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel for a day to the beautiful island of Sicily in the Mediterranean. We had to wake up extremely early to board our ship on time. 

Our first stop was Toarmina, arguably Sicily's most beautiful city! On the way there we had the opportunity to stop and take in the beautiful sight of Isola Bella, also known as the The Pearl of the Ionian Sea. There is also a narrow path which often connects the island to the mainland. Definitely in my plans to revisit and swim there! 

Once we got there, we had the opportunity to roam around and shop for a little while, before having lunch. I absolutely loved going around the little antique streets making up the beauty of the city! 

The views from this city are to die for! Not to mention the crystal blue sea surrounding the gorgeous island! 

We also enjoyed looking at the souvenirs which are made by hand by the locals. 

After having lunch, we made our way to the Etna Volcano (which is active) found on the east coast of Sicily in Catania. We hiked up some craters, and also visited the tourist shops open on site. 

I absolutely loved visiting this great island once again! Let me know where you've been lately; I'd love to read about it!

:: Aussie Brand Launch - You, with a touch of purple! ::

Hey girls! 

Last Thursday I was invited to attend the official launch of the brand Aussie which was held at The Galley in Ta Xbiex. Aussie is a brand of hair products promising natural beautiful hair with a flawless finish. The lines include shampoos and conditioners, treatments, stylers as well as finishes. 

The launch party resembled a get-together; apart from getting to meet a bunch of amazing people for the first time, I also got to mingle with some fellow bloggers, youtubers and other people from the local fashion industry over some amazing BBQ and lemonade!

I am very excited to try out some of these new products as I have heard amazing things about them, especially the Dual Personality Anti-Frizz Line! I will definitely let you know how that goes! 

In addition, they held a competition at the event itself, to win an amazing hamper containing all the Aussie products which have been introduced in Malta, presented by the beautiful Marija Mijovic from VJ Salomone Marketing. 

Just before we left, we were given a little goodie-bag containing some shampoo and conditioner from the Miracle Moist Line, which I will definitely be trying out and sharing my thoughts with you!

:: Adventure Blog #1 ::

Hey girls!

This is a relatively different post compared to the ones I usually post, but I've been given the opportunity to live a beautiful camping experience and I was intrigued to share it with you! I hope you'll enjoy it! 

I can't say that I'm the adventurous type, however I decided to go on this short camping trip. We left on Saturday afternoon and made it back on Sunday 10th. 

We had to walk quite a bit to get to the place where we set up camp, but the scenery was to die for - I started to appreciate the beauty of nature and the clean air. 

We set up camp very close to the sea, which made the experience that much better! 

After we settled down, we decided to go have a swim and watch the sun set! This was without a doubt one of the most scenic moments of this trip - everyone was very relaxed and calm!

We later returned, had dinner and chatted, and went to 'bed' (we slept on rock!). After a relatively harsh night (a new appreciation for my bed haha!) we went to look for some shore wildlife such as crabs, and we stumbled upon some peculiar creatures! 

After another quick dip in the sea, we packed up everything and started our way back up the hill. This time it was not as pleasant due to the heat and the lack of sleep; but nonetheless we enjoyed every minute of it and I am open for another adventure! 

We did not take much with us, apart from the essentials such as food and water. I personally took some sleeping clothes and the outfit as shown below. My shoes are from a local store in Rabat, my shorts are from New Look, and my plain white tee is from Pimkie. 

I went completely make-up free, so I brought absolutely no make-up with me. The only beauty product that I brought along was the Olay Complete Lightweight Day Fluid for Normal/Dry Skin with SPF 15.  I applied it throughout the trip to keep my skin hydrated and to protect me from the sun.

:: Pantene Products Review ::

Hey girls! 

I've recently been trying out some new Pantene products, and I fell in love with them, so I thought I'd share my thoughts and experience with you! 

I got the opportunity to review the Pantene Pro-V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner and the Pantene 2 Minutes Deep Smoothening Mask for Normal/ Thick Hair. 

I will start by writing about the shampoo and conditioner; The Pro-V stands for Pro-Vitamin B5. Pantene have a wide range of Pro-V products, however this is the one which I thought would mostly help my dry (and frizzy!) hair. In fact, on the packaging itself the products state that they are intended to smoothen rough and frizzy hair - JACKPOT! 

I was quite impressed with these products, as they helped me achieve healthier looking hair, while generally strengthening the hair.. The shampoo has a creamy and thick texture, which is white in colour, not to mention the amazing scent! They basically worked by controlling frizz and providing a sleek and silky look! I definitely recommend you to try them out girls! 

I also got the opportunity to try out the Pantene Deep Smoothening Mask for Normal to Thick Hair. This product works by applying it to damp hair starting from the tips and finishing at the roots, leaving it in for approximately two minutes, and rinsing out. The texture and scent are very similar to the shampoo and conditioner - very fruity and permeating! 

It also comes in this handy-dandy packaging, making it super-easy to open in the shower with those slippery and soapy hands! I sometimes also apply it after coming up from the water at the beach, ensuring that my hair doesn't frizz and go crazy (nobody wants that!)

:: Favourite Pampering Products! ::

Hey girls! I am three days away from the last day of my exams! And let me tell you; I'm literally counting the hours until they're over! However I'e developed some new products during these exams, as I' trying to keep myself sane with mini pampering sessions! Also stay tuned till the end for a giveaway! 

My favourite body products at the moment are the following: The Soothing Strawverry, Raspberry and Pomegranate Soothing Body Lotion by Pampered, The Body Shop Pinita Colada Fresh Body Sorbet, and The Body Shop Apple Shimmer Lotion. 

For my hair products, I am currently obsessing over some Tresemme goodies! I am either applying the Tresemme Luxurious Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner, or else this Keratin Smooth Shampoo or Conditioner. I also often apply the Tresemme Breakage Defence Restructuring Treatment Masque 

Now I'm moving on to my current favourites with regards to skincare products! Mt absolute favourite at the moment is the Olay Refreshing Facial Wash. But I also occassionally use the Simple Kind to Skin Smoothing Facial Scrub, together with the Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturizer. 

I also fell in love with applying face masks lately; any face mask! Its great to apply and leave it to set during your studies! I have recently used the Cien one, but I love all!
